Volunteer

From the very beginning, volunteers have made the Barn Burner possible. We truly appreciate all that our great volunteers do to make our races run smoothly and to make the racers' experience unforgettable.

If you are going to be in town for the Barn Burner, we would love for you to join the family and pitch in. Thanks in advance for your help — we couldn't do it without you!

The least we can do for each volunteer is to give back a little something for you! All volunteers will receive:

  • A commemorative volunteer T-shirt celebrating this year's event
  • Complimentary snacks
  • Breakfast, lunch or dinner depending on the time of shift
  • Two free Historic Brewing drink tickets on race day
  • Meet a new friend or business contact
  • Create new interests or hobbies
  • Fulfillment of helping another individual accomplish their goal or dream
  • And, of course, the good feeling one gets when helping a worthy cause

Volunteer Positions

Volunteer positions include packet pickup, course marshaling, aid station support, medical support and many others. Volunteers must be at least 15 years of age and have adult supervision with them at all times.

Groups
Leaders of volunteer groups larger than 10 people are encouraged to reach out directly to our volunteer coordinator. Along with the normal perks of helping, we do offer donations to volunteer groups of 10 volunteers or more. We will find space to accommodate groups of any size, so reach out to us today and get your group involved!
